belting

My fashionable little sister (that I posted about on Friday) has her senior prom quickly approaching. I found her a fabulous dress by Kova & T (as seen on Kelly Osbourne on the set of Fashion Police!) and we are currently in search of the perfect belt to accent both her waist and the dress. The dress was VERY reasonably priced and is the perfect combination of comfort and class. However, without the perfect belt and accessories, it may appear too casual. Any suggestions on the perfect belt/accessories to spice it up?

How GORGEOUS is the back?! I am in love.

fashionista friday

Happy Friday! Friday is such a wonderful day; I think it's my favorite day of the week. Heading to Atlanta tonight for a lovely dinner date with my wonderful man to celebrate our seventh "anniversary." I think anniversary is a cheesy word, but I guess that's the only word for it.

I've decided I will use Fridays to feature some important people that inspire me often. Today I will start with an obvious choice: my little sister, Suzie. Suzie is a senior in high school and a total fashionista. She is not afraid to take chances with her wardrobe, even amongst those who may not appreciate it the way she does and I do. She is the MASTER of styling vintage clothing and thinking outside the box. And even as a relatively tall girl, probably around 5'7, she's not afraid to rock some awesome shoes! She also inspires me to be skinny, so I can wear all her clothes! Here's to you, Sooz. You can thank me later for teaching you my ways.

stacks

Quick post to show off my new rings (from TJ Maxx, obviously my favorite place)! loved the coral and gold! split them up on two fingers; I looked a little tacky with five on one finger! The other two are Stella&Dot and are staples in my wardrobe. Lots of new luck coming my way today! :)

purple

Snagged these amazing purple DKNY jeans for a very special (and fashionable!) person in my life who has a very important birthday approaching. Found them at TJ Maxx for only $30! Doesn't every girl love to share a good deal?! I cannot wait to see them on her! I like to live vicariously through her skinny body.

furbish

After posting the how-to on styling your couch earlier, I scooted on over to Furbish Studio to scope out the cool things they had. I found SO many adorable things, and here are some of my favorites, just for fun!

(left) Bright Bouquet Tray, $75
(right) Geo Nesting Bowls, $24
 (left) Mr.&Mrs. Hand Towels, $30
(right) Pink Ikat Throw, $135
(left) Mr&Mrs Tumblers, $18---as seen on one of my favorite blogs, Cheetah is the New Black!
(right)Purple and Orangle Pillow, $75---perfect with a monogram in the middle!
Tortoise Shell Highball Glasses, $56

huh?

Finding some extremely amazing goodies in TJ Maxx today! Fendi purse (only $1899! ha), Prada sunnies, and Dolce&Gabbana and Michael Kors iPad cases. This is tripping me out!! Too bad my poor college student budget won't allow me to purchase any. (Sorry for the bad picture quality, i was in a frenzy trying to comprehend the fact that I found these in TJ Maxx!)

lucky bling

I truly believe in the impact a good piece of jewelry can make on your mood. I call my jewelry my "lucky bling" and wear virtually every piece I own when I need some good fortune coming my way. Here are a few of my favorites that I promise myself I will one day have. I guess I better start saving! Oh, the luck these pretty things would bring!

love and lucky bling,

couch envy

Absolutely ADORING this how-to on styling your couch from The Glitter Guide! I am head-over-heels in love with the pink couch, and the colorful throws and blankets add just the right amount of mix-and-match color (which I LOVE; I rarely match). I will definitely be keeping this tutorial handy for future use. And even if you aren't crazy about the color scheme, Jamie Meares of Furbish Studio offers great insight on exactly what you need on your couch. Enjoy, I know I did!

Hello

Yay! A place for me to talk about all the things I want to buy! Currently posting in my diet blog Twenty to Tiny about my constant struggles with weight loss (more struggles than successes, sadly), and now I can blog here about all the things I want to buy when I'm skinny and no longer a poor college student!

I'll start off by directing you to my Pinterest and Fashiolista accounts, where I spend the majority of my days swooning over things I definitely cannot afford. But isn't that the fun part? I love pretending that one day all these things will be mine. :)

peace, love, and fashion fun
